What exactly is Achieve Test Prep?

Is Achieve Test Prep a good program? Achieve offers the most flexible, supportive path to an RN by utilizing a system called credit by exam. Credit by exam (also known as "CLEP testing")allows you to earn college credits for prerequisite subjects without taking an entire semester-long class. By taking a proficiency test in general education subjects such as English, math, and history, you can test out of college courses while earning the same credits, helping you save time and avoid unnecessary homework, quizzes, and projects.

Is Achieve Test Prep a college?

No, Achieve does not have accreditation and is not a college. Rather, we breakdown the educational barriers that have left working adults behind, helping you get through nursing school with built-in supports and learning solutions that make higher education more realistic.

What colleges work with Achieve Test Prep?

Credit by exam offers 34 tests on various subjects, and the program is accepted at 2,900 accredited colleges and universities in the United States.

Credit by exam in your state 

Credit by exam requirements vary for each state and school. Colleges and universities in all 50 states accept credit by exam, but how those credits are applied may be different. For example, some schools have limits as to how many credit hours you can test out of, and each CLEP exam has its own testing schedule and test centers. Some credit by exam tests also have required waiting periods before you can retake an exam.
